About

Matt Levine. Producer.

Matt started playing drums at six years old. That led to metal bands, jazz ensembles, two summers studying jazz at Brandeis University, and eventually a business degree from the University of Miami.

Two weeks before graduation, Matt received a text from an artist looking for records. He studied the artist's taste, locked himself in the studio, and emerged two days later with five tracks written specifically for the project. He got the job, beginning a creative partnership that would last the next two years.

What followed was a two-year stretch contributing to hundreds of records for a client under NDA. He later spent an intensive period in Toronto working under one of dance music's most accomplished backend producers, sharpening the speed, versatility, and attention to detail required at the highest level.

His work has reached the hands of artists including Tiësto and Vintage Culture and has been played on some of the world's biggest stages. He also maintains an ongoing relationship with a French label that brings him in when its roster needs a high volume of records delivered on a tight timeline — including twenty songs in two weeks.

Matt began in dubstep, a genre that demands an obsessive level of sound design, arrangement, and technical precision. Learning other genres was never a departure from that foundation. It was a way to strengthen it.

That versatility is what clients continue to come back for. Whatever the genre, the goal remains the same: create records that feel intentional, competitive, and built for the artist behind them.
